I had a new E220 AMG Night edition estate delivered a couple of weeks ago. Dropped in to see a mate in his Kwik Fit garage and as it was quiet, he checked the wheel alignment on his state of the art new machine.
One of the rear wheels was out of alignment although the car had only done about 700 miles. He adjusted it, which put the front wheels out which were then adjusted to match.
All done for nothing I may add but makes you think. The rear tyre could have been worn out in half the normal time/mileage if he hadn't checked it.
