Brilliant!!
I love the atmosphere and the feeling of excitement before going in, but then I leave disappointed and miserable every time, after being drained of a large amount of cash.........................................

buts thats enough about going to watch Man City, afterwards at least I'll be able to go a drop a few hundred at the blackjack tables :D

.............you knew it was coming, but it was still funny!!

Seriously though, the media have tried their hardest to turn this into a big "moral" issue but does anybody actually give a d*** where they put the flaming thing??

given that you are located in harrogate, you must have a pretty big garden if east central manchester is nearby!!

It is in the wrong place because the decision was made on "economic regeneration" (i.e political vote winning) grounds and they simply could not give it to the Dome because of the stink that would have resulted from the idiotic antics of Jabba the Prescott.

All about dosh. Gordon Brown expects to raise Billions from these deals in the short term no matter where they go or if the things fail long term.

No Government expenditure involved, vote winning, creates low income jobs to get claiments off benefits and will rake in a pile of grant fees no matter what. Lots of punters get dragged in and guess what? More taxes!

Everybody wins! Except the punters of course but they are stupid little people so nobody really cares

As mentioned earlier, I don't see what the moral fuss is about. And yes, everybody does win.
Just a shame that this govt will get even more tax to pointlessly squander, but at least its discretionary - don't play and you won't pay.......
