New CL500 for Breaking/Salvage?

Was at the Car Breakers in Dorking, Surrey (by the railway) yesterday, amongst all the usual Fords, Vauxhalls etc, is a brand new CL500 Coupe I think (no wear even on the tyres!)............ been wrapped around a lampost or tree, all airbags including roof had triggered but the guy said the driver died on impact. Big crack in the transmission, not sure what they are going to do with it (check before visiting) as I was in a hurry before they closed getting some more run of the mill parts for a friends van.

Thats so sad especially more so for the driver - cars can be replaced.

OT: I was in my friends CL500 last night, it's on a W reg, keyless go, Rear headrests go both up and down, electric steering adjustment, 19" wheels (same as maff's) pretty much had it all apart from electric rear blind.... he is getting his windows 'smoked' out anyway.
