Hey all,
Just dropping a hello to you all.
Lurked for a while, while I was in the process of looking to buy a cls63. Finally got myself one in October and thought it was time to sign up, say hello and hopefully get involved now I own a CLS63.
Always been a fan of fast cars but also cars that you rarely see, call me weird but I like owning a car that you don't often see, which kind of keeps it a bit special, well in my eyes anyway. Owned a mk1 Focus RS for a time before stepping up into the world of v8s, here started the love for v8 fast barges, and getting myself a mk1 Audi RS6. I was part of the rs246.com forum so was involved in sorting out a few meets, mainly the Wings & Wheels show that was held at Dunsfold, not sure if that is still going but was great fun that.
I also managed to take her around the Highlands for a road trip before having to part ways with her, thread below:
Dipped into the world of the BMW m6 but that was short lived, including a trip to small claims court. (Thread here if interested CarFirm Peterborough - BMW M6(YC62 BTE) - Z4-forum.com)
An interim z4 ownership while that was sorted out before finally arriving to where I am now, the owner of a diamond white CLS63 Shooting Brake. So far so good, lots of fun in it and my 6 year old daughter always egging me on to pin her to her seat while accelerating, pushing 40 but cant say no to peer pressure now can we!
Currently the car is with Mercland trying to figure out a weird gearbox issue on cold pull offs (Posted here if anyone could help, 2012 CLS63 Shooting Brake - Gearbox & Suspension Issues | AMG Lounge) but thats not put me off enjoying it so far!
