Hi guys.

My clutch feels as though it may be on its way out. I asked a mechanic who i know and he said the clutch is in three parts and costs about £240. He said the problem is, when changing the clutch i may have to have the flywheel changed as well and can cost up to £1000 for it!!!!!!

Is that right? Cheers guys.

The most recent shape V has the chassis number 639

Not sure if i'm looking at the right thing but near the start of my chassis number it has 638? Is that right?

If so, does the flywheel HAVE to be replaced along with the three part clutch? If so, how much for parts would i be looking to pay, and what would you say a good guide is for fitting.

Cheers.

638 is a mk 1 vito, transverse engine
Unless the flywheel is badly worn I would fit just an MB Clutch set
