Hi everyone,

I'm new here so thought I'd say hello. I'm thinking about buying a C200 Coupe. Looking for a low mileage example around 10-13 years old. Got my eye on a C200 Kompressor with leather, 80,000 miles. Looks a lovely example. Fingers crossed.

Here to see if I can learn more about the car and anything that I would overlook.

Owned an SLK previously and loved it. Looking for something a little less girly on this occasion!

So.... I bought one!

A lovely silver, W203 C Class Coupe C200K Sport SE I think is it's full title. She's in need of a little TLC but has a wonderful engine and gearbox.

Seems like it was quite highly spec'd when it was purchased originally. Panoramic roof, two tone leather, phone kit, heated seats all on an 05 plate. FSH (although only 3 at the main dealer) and loads of receipts. 99,000 miles on the clock.

I've already been reading some posts around the forum about other peoples experiences so you'll probably see a little more of me now.
