they are now doing 'second chance offers' to a losing bidder..

I entered into conversation with him, and only got suspicious when he asked for my full address (it was a collection only) and refused to allow for collection.

even got sent a 'you have agreed to buy' email - but GF (who checked my mail) didnt notice it was western union payment :rolleyes:

spoofs sent to ebay - who nonchelantly said it was spam...

Spam sent....

Why don't you register that email addy on other websites where he will then get lots and lots of spam without you having to do anything... :devil:
 
I have had a similar email when I was outbid on an item, something about the emails that were sent didn't ring true, so I contacted the bidder who won to ask direct if he had dropped out - needless to say he hadn't
 
I got a email on similar lines to the above but not for a item I had been bidding on!!!
Ive copied the email bellow and yes it looked like it was from ebay. I contacted ebay and havent had a reply as yet!! Bet it will be the stardard spoof warning reply :mad:
