Dear Sir
I must say that the illustration on the cover of your Dalek Manual is just typical of the type inaccuracy that we have come to expect of Haynes Manual's.
The Dalek featured is quite obviously the MkII Series B model as denoted by the inverted gas cowling and the overall size and position of the blob seating and goo reservoirs.
However the Occular Baton (eye onna stick) is very obviously that of the MkII Series A model, first featured in the Dr Who episode entitled "Sarah Jane Does The Cybermen", whereas the MkII Series B chasis did not appear until a full eight months later in the episode entitled "Planet Floppycock: The Bromide World".
In addition to this the ventricular access tubes shown in your illustration are rigid and therefore must be from the MkI Series A model because all later models were fitted with flexible hoses after the rigid hoses proved to be susceptible to the effects of Peter Cushing and his sad tap-dancing sidekick.
Please correct these obvious mistakes immediately or you will be exterminated.
