New here but an experienced detailer

Hi guys, this is my first Mercedes but have been detailing my cars for the last few years. This is my new E220d AMG Line premium plus in Selentine Grey. It was delivered a few weeks back but the way the rain ran off it, it was clearly unprotected, so I gave it a winter Protection detail. I used Valet Pro PHNeutral snow foam and megs shampoo. Dried using waffle weave and the purpleMonster. No polish required as it's new paint, so instead used poorboys black hole glaze, Fusso PTFE sealant and sonax BSD to remove the static charge.

I have to say that interior looks amazing with the ambient lighting! The new e class is so far ahead of the w212 in terms of styling inside and out!

That dual LCD screen option is so worth it. Makes it look truly next generation and puts my 4-month old GLC interior to shame. With only 3 colours of ambient lighting available, I may as well be in a Dacia Duster The new 2-litre diesel is a sweet unit too.

The BSD over Fusso Coat is a combination I am going to try on my neighbour's new metallic black Kia Sportage but I'll give him a few weeks to experience the extreme sheeting properties of Fusso Coat before I convert it to the extreme beading properties of BSD.

BTW, I couldn't live with the new car orange peel finish you get these days so I spent 12 hours attacking the vertical surfaces with a D.A. Still room for improvement but 6-monthly jewelling polishes with Nanotech SST before redoing my Blackfire Wet Ice Over Fire combo will bring it closer to the way I want it.
