Hi all,

New to the forum so apologies if this is the wrong section.

After a used cls but not au fait with mercs at all really so the multitude of models is throwing me - here's my questions:

1. do all cls320 cdi & cls350 cdi models have the comand setup as standard, or do I need to make sure the dealer states it has comand?

2. what's the difference between the cls320 and cls350?

This one is more of a general question and is obviously open to personal preference, but I'd like to get feedback if possible:

3. pros/cons of buying from a dealer on finance? I usually pay cash for my cars, but jumping up to a budget of 8 - 15k or so, I'm reading reviews on dealers where any bad experiences are sometimes accompanied by 'luckily I got it on finance so was able to take the finance company to court for a refund' - obviously I hope I never have to go through something like that, but in a worst case scenario does buying via finance give me some kind of worthwhile fallback?

And finally the longshot:

4. anyone able to recommend a used merc dealer in/near to the alfreton area of derbyshire?

Huge thanks if you can help out with any of those :thumb:

I could be wrong, but...
1) I think COMAND is an option, so unless someone ticked the box they come with Audio 20.
2) They are the same engine, but the 350 CDI might indicate a bunch of factory options already included. - For example, COMAND.
3) The worst case scenario to buying on finance is probably that it costs you more overall. - I'm not a fan of financing myself; I'd rather pay outright.
4) Google suggests Chesterfield or Derby; I've seen a couple not-main dealers in Derby, so that might be the best bet.

Someone please correct any glaring errors I've made.

thanks mate, I ended up buying a cls350 cdi (with comand) today :) blew the finance out and paid cash (£100 on credit card to protect myself a bit)

Enjoy it!
