The security aspect is crap anyway. You can't start the car with the valet key. So people knowing how to unlock the door with it isn't a security risk.

Anyway, the key worked fine for doors, engine etc...


I thought i'd look in the book and if a problem ask my indie garage who are great.

Locked my key in the boot of my w210 many years ago. My eyes clamped on the key as the boot lid shut and screamed noooooooooo internally.

Called mobilo, who warned they may have to destroy a light cluster. However they had the knack...... No damage.
