Smart ForFour+ForTwo+Roadster Coupe
Hi all,
Ok, so I don't own a 'real' Merc.....but I do own 4 MCC (Mercedes Car Company) vehicles....SMART's ! !
1x ForFour 1.5 CDi
(Merc diesel engine, lowered, 17x7 100+Nitro wheels with
Toyo Proxes4 tyres, Remus exhaust, ITG filter)
1x ForTwo Cabriolet
(remapped, Brabus wheels, Remus exhaust, ITG filter etc etc)
1x For Two Coupe
(race spec engine, huge wheels/tyres, Spax suspension,
titanium exhaust, bling interior, road legal !)
1x Roadster Coupe
(122bhp !, lowered, custom louvred front wings)

Would love to hear from other SMART owners on this MB site.....

Schhhh....... I've also got a 340bhp 6spd (95) BMW M5 ! :D

Is the BMW the E34 shape or is '95 too late for that?

92k miles...FSH...recent new clutch (complete) ...new front struts (mega dosh), thinking of parting company with it..offers over £8k.

You must be an intelligent guy .So smart in thinking and very smart in appearance i feel.

Me and the GF share a smart.

Does the re-map help thje awful gear change?

Yes, a remap reduces the gearchange time by aprox 50%
plus ups the power. Used wisely it can even save fuel !
There are lots of companies around offering remaps....
chose with care...or by recommendation (BIGperformance);)

Worth doing (if not done already) is to de-lip the intake.
That on its own unstrangles the breathing and perks the car up.
Checkout www.evilution.co.uk a mind blowing site for ForTwo owners.

He must be very SMART he has 4 x Smart cars and a powerful BMW M5

But not smart enough to buy a REAL MERC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I can find the buyers, then I'm considering getting a 'Real' Merc as you put it...An early SLK 230 would do me....but in white ! (my choice, right)Will need to part with the M5, the Roadster, and the race spec ForTwo before then.

Hello

Welcome,

I drove a smart years ago when they first came over LHD only it was from Smart in Manchester as our company hired it at the time, great fun.

Only recently my wifes mum has bought one a two door hatch, great little car all std though :)

Chap at my old work had a roadster and he had that moddified to just about everything they could (realisticallty) to the engine. I had a drive and just kept going round and round the local business park it was so much fun.

Agree the gear shifting is a little thumpy but great cars and I like the current advert..

Cheers and post some Pics.

BM sounds nice were you on the BMW forum? I was until recently sold my 330 sport vert for the Bus...

Welcome crazyG...

MB and MCC owner here, both great for different reasons...

(MCC as yet unmapped, but it will happen eventually)

I did have a City Coupe Brabus. Jack black, standard throughout. An absolute hoot to drive around town (apart from the speed humps), especially when it comes to parking. But a bit too bouncy and wayward on the open road when flat out (95).

I sold it, but I do still look at them with great affection.
