Does anyone know if there is such thing as a spray or liquid that can be rubbed onto the leather or dash and gives that new leather smell and new dash smell..like when you first picked up the car new..

Feeding the leather is always going to be better than spraying it with scent. I use AutoGlym, but others will also recommend Gliptone.

I bought Gliptone and found the smell to be very "chemical" like, .... although there was a resemblance to leather, i found it a bit unpleasant.

However, then i found Buffalo Leather Aroma liquid. Altogether a much more sweeter pleasant smell of leather.

I haven't ever found anything that could accurately replicate the smell of a new car.

Gliptone is very "new leather" and also a very good conditioner

Ill vouch for that too. +AAAAAA product

But isn't the website just shocking?

Not often you have such a great product with such an awful web site. I've not tried the leather air freshners, they must be new.

Do MB dealers all use the same product or do they sometimes use outside valeters?
When I picked my car up, you could really smell the leather!!

I'd love to find the same product.

"My name's Rich and I have Artico.":)

Any recommendations for the best product to use on Artico? Not only to achieve the smell, but one that leaves the surface feeling ok.

Artico just needs a wipe down with a damp cloth. To get the smell try a leather scented candle airfreshner in the door pocket. I can't remember the brand but I check mine latter.

I was a bit disappointed with Gliptone, cleaned well but didn't notice anything special in the aroma afterwards, but then i don't have nappa....

I have two products which I use for leather. Gliptone for a quick once-over now and again - good for freshening the air in the cabin!! Their leather cleaner is quite good as well - gets any stains and grime out easily. I have a young family, so it has been thoroughly tested! Many times. :p

Every blue moon I give the leather a thorough feed - but you need time. For this I use Connolly Hide Food. My reason for this is that Connolly are the leather experts, and if it's good enough for them... It is like butter and makes a bit of a mess of the seats until it has time to soak in, but it always does. You will need to leave it overnight at least to properly work in. The leather is lovely and soft/supple afterwards though!

Always a bit troubled by the thousands of little holes my seats have: need to be really careful with any of the thicker cleaners or it can just fill them up an then have to spend ages with a toothpick!

Or am I missing something?

Better still, for that leather smell, place a little Gliptone on a small cloth and place under the seat. :)

I am using Wilkinsons own brand Leather Wipes. Look in the motoring section. Good value at only 99p per pack. Good cleaning properties and leave a pleasant leathery aroma.
Aldi do a similar pack at the same price but imo Wilkinsons is the winner.
