Welcome to the forum.
Could you post what the CarPlay adapter is, or even better a 'how to' thread to get it to work with the phone puck connector.
thanks
I bought the adapter from AliExpress. It's the NTG3.0 version of this one: 167.11£ 38% OFF|For Ntg3.0-3.5 Ben S-class W221 Android Auto Decoder Box Wireless Apple Carplay Support Mirror Link Swc Map Siri Ios Android - Car Multimedia Player - AliExpress. I paid £184, including Fedex two week shipping.

My description may have been misleading - the adapter works completely wirelessly, using bluetooth for the initial connection but thereafter using wifi for all data transfer. I can leave my phone in my pocket, and it connects automatically. The CarPlay adapter does have a USB connection option too, but in my setup that's only used to provide (a little bit of) power to the wireless charging puck that I've glued into the recess in my home-made phone tray. The tray itself has no electrical connection to the original phone preparation clip, I merely used it to clip my phone tray in place. I looked into using the antenna connection in the phone preparation clip to somehow boost the antenna signal inside the centre console, but I had no success, so the clip is used purely as a physical mount. In practice it's quite a good place for signal anyway, both GSM and GPS.

I'm happy to post the STL file for the phone mount if anyone else wants to print one, but it's quite specific to my iPhone 13 Pro in a silicone case. Or I could post the OpenSCAD file if you want to modify it to suit your own phone.

And I see that Andrew Lloyd Webber's S600 is still being advertised on Autotrader. But that one's been on at the same price since April when I bought mine, so I guess provenance will only get you so far.
Eight months on, that Andrew Lloyd Weber S600 is still for sale in Norwich.
I'm sure it's lovely but £15k for 135k is out of kilter with the rest of the market.

Greetings and belated welcome to the group - Very nice car indeed ..... one day

Wow - that's over a year from when I first noticed it then. I guess it's not clogging up his drive then - stored away somewhere, so he's not bothered how long it takes to sell. Knowing how long it's been on the market, it could be worth a cheeky low-ball offer I'd have thought, for anyone considering buying one of these awesome cars :)
