I am the owner of a fire opal red c class and am seeking advice. I rang up MB to book my car in for the paintwork to be inspected as it is only 7 years old and the paint is blistering and peeling in places. That was 10 days ago, took it down today, gave them my key, 45 mins later they give me my keys back saying that the 2 jobs were done. I said it only came down for the bodywork, but it turns out they did a software upgrade on the engine without my knowledge, I assume it was to do with the emissions. Is this work allowed without me knowing. Any advice appreciated.

What did you say to the Reception Staff when you handed over the Keys? Were they made Aware that you were there regarding the Paint Problem?
