    Is this 'Club' a Forum type club which only operates via the Internet or has it any sort of 'Base' which produces a monthly magazine such as the Mercedes Benz  Owners Club ?

    Would you say this forum seems to have a bias towards later models and  an intrest 'high tech' type questions and answers?. If so that suits me fine <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

    Is there a guide to the use of some of the iB code buttons ?

    What would you say is the advantage of this forum as opposed to the MBOC or MBOA forums ?

    I must say for my first visit I was impressed, especially with the 'Pics'

    Tony, welcome aboard! <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

    &quot;Is this 'Club' a Forum type club which only operates via the Internet or has it any sort of 'Base' which produces a monthly magazine such as the Mercedes Benz Owners Club?&quot;

    This is not really a club as such, mainly just a forum, no membership fee, no magazine, no physical base, just a website and a load of enthusiatic Mercedes owners.

    &quot;Would you say this forum seems to have a bias towards later models and  an intrest 'high tech' type questions and answers?. If so that suits me fine <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &quot;

    As a forum we accept questions and answers of all types, although mostly it has been later models and the bias has been towards modification and maintenance.  Both the questions and answers are provided by members so obviously that limits the scope.

    &quot;Is there a guide to the use of some of the iB code buttons?&quot;

    If you would like some help there is always this: [IMG]

    but to be honest that's not a lot of use, do you have a specific question about iB?

    &quot;What would you say is the advantage of this forum as opposed to the MBOC or MBOA forums?&quot;

    The advantage of this forum is that this one has activity, the others go dead for days, the average member age is I suppose a little younger at MBclub and therefore I think the forum is a little more lively, besides which we have the exclusive <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/banana.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bannana:'> smilie, now I'm sure that's persuaded you <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

    &quot;I must say for my first visit I was impressed, especially with the 'Pics'&quot;

    Regarding the pics Tony, it's kind of a rule here but if you want to tell us about something, ask a question etc then you'd better provide pics!  No but seriously pics always help don't they? <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

    Echo Shude really, We are all from different walks of life and with different budgets, Since I've been on here there has been Benz's ranging from early C,E,S,CE,SL right up to the lovely AMG range that many drive here on this forum. There is no snobbery what so ever, there's people out there with £80K Benz's talkin with the £4K Benz and all are as helpful as each other....
    Most questions that are posted are replied to promptly with a variety of valid answers so you get a good mix of technical expertise.

    Anyway just my 2p's worth... so enjoy. If your around on a Thursday night after 9ish, click the &quot;live chat link&quot; at the top of the forum page as a group of us get together and exchange &quot;anything goes banter&quot;.......

    Hi Tony,

    Like the others, I find the MBClub a very informative. interesting and often entertaining place to come and discuss MB (and other) topics.

    I am sure you too will find it very enjoyable. The 'chats' on Thursday nights often turn into very hilarious events and I personally think they are brilliant. Please don't take this sight too seriously and get upset if things occasionally go off topic, it just makes it more interesting.

    Saying that, there is a wealth of information in the topics already posted and more is always available from the members. So whatever questions you may have MB related or not, just ask, there are lots of knowledgable people here only too willing to help if they can.

    Welcome, and I hope you enjoy MBClub as much as I do.  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/banana.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bannana:'>  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/banana.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bannana:'>  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/banana.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bannana:'>

    This is without a doubt the best forum in the UK for mercedes owners.

    Lots of expertise here with all types of mercedes not just late stuff either (i'm a specialist on W126's...)

    Its just like a Dr. Pepper advert

    Hi Tony,

    </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Now I had better try to work out how to get a picture on line  </td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

    Fuzzer, one of the members, wrote this great tutorial for those of us that didn't know what to do.

    Click here for Fuzzer's tutorial

    Basically, if the image you want to post is already online somewhere, put its address inside the iB Image tags.

    If its a picture you have taken yourself, you need to follow Fuzzer's advice - upload it - then put the 'upload' address between the iB Image tags.

    Hope this helps.

    PS, if you are dumb like me <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wallbash.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bash:'> set aside an evening  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

    Occasionally there is a get together (GTG) where we can meet in a pixel free environment. I have only been to one which was at Santa Pod drag strip in Northants, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Anyway, welcome aboard.
