Hi - new member in Herts. Had a couple of E Class Mercs (220 CDI) before and did love them although last one (2005) had a few issues - and local Merc dealers were unbelievably bad (badly scratched the car while in for service - said it was like that when they had it - the guy who valeted it after service had noted the scratch on the work sheet. Their mistake was not remembering that they had been late finishing the car and had apologised to me for being unable to valet it before I collected it at 6.30pm on a dark night).
Changed to a VW Phaeton (sorry MB lovers) which is superb in many ways - but needed some pleasure again so have just become the proud owner (as second car - but I suspect it will be used a lot) of a 2004 CLK 55 AMG Cab. My local garage owner sure did smile when I pulled in to buy some petrol - he reckons I will be a frequent visitor....
50,000 on the clock - full MB SH - last serviced at 48,500 - any hints as to what to watch out for greatly appreciated.
