Alright folks, I've been a bit obsessed with the w124 estate for a while and am now in a position to actually buy one, just wondering if any of you folks could offer some buying advice, I am in london and the ULEZ thing means I wont be getting a diesel, so I'm trying to figure out which engine I should go for, I dont drive particularly fast but I would ne nice to have a bit of power available, but would like it to be reasonably economical. Also I am having trouble finding what these cars came with as standard and what options I should look out for, ultimately I am looking for a nice clean car that I can lower a bit and put a nice set of wheels on and add a nice stereo. So any advice or links to cars for sale would be great. My max budget is around £4k.
