Picked up an 06 plate C320 v6 CDI AG estate yesterday. A bit of rust on the driver's door - just on the edge. Another little bit on the front bonnet where it bends around the grill. This thing is FAST!!!!! Our other cars are a 14 plate A6 (Ultra model S line 190 bhp) and a W Reg Sprinter 310d (ssssloooowwwww).
100% merc service history where it seems to have had work done on breaks and calipers a few times (car lived in Aberdeen for a while - I guess the weather was a bit rough up there?). Last mot work done it detailed brakes being 'freed up' on the front and also the hand brake. What would that be for?
Took it to ATS yesterday for tracking / whee alignment and was told the front break disks were both shot. Getting them sorted soon with a full service.
How much should a full service cost at a decent specialist? I might get them to give it a once over.
