- 2008 Sprinter 4x4 ex-minibus now a campervan, 2010 E350 CDI Blueefficiency Sport Estate
Hi all,
I've been the owner of a 2008 4x4 Sprinter since Dec 2021. We bought it as a part campervan conversion. The previous owner was a supercar trader who bought the 1 owner low mileage vehicle with a full MB service history and started to convert it. Technically we are the second owners. It was finally finished at the end of 2022 and we have been travelling regularly since. Minor problems like the MAF packing up around the Puy de Dome in France during our first month long trip enabled me to experience the fantastic dealer network around Europe. Since then it hasn't missed a beat. We're planning our trip around the Baltic this spring and heading of to Greece for the second time in the autumn. Oh the problems with being retired.
Secondly I'm going to pick our new (old) Mercedes this week. We've bought a 2010 E350 CDI Blueefficiency Sport estate, 2 previous owners, last one for 14 years with a full MB history. It feels a fantastic vehicle and can't wait to get my hands on it.
I love forums because with regular reading you learn how to avoid the pitfalls others have fallen in to. It kept my old land rovers going for the past 20 years ( or when ever forums started). Hopefully I won't be asking for your help too soon. As my experience grows with these vehicles I hope I can contribute in the future to the general good sense found here. Thanks for reading my missive and let the fun begin....
