Hi all,
I'm late to the Mercedes game (21 years with a licence) and finally scratched the itch last summer when I found a great example of a 2009 W209 320 CDI. I liked it so much that I bought a C350 CDI only a few months later, figuring it would suit the 102 mile round commute I'd just inherited. It's been superb.
I do like a big diesel (5+ cylinders) and am really impressed with the performance, flexibility, and efficiency of the OM642. So far they've been pretty much flawless too. And as multi-cylinder diesel engines are dying out, I'm enjoying them while I can!
I've almost finished chasing maintenance and repairs on both cars, but have an issue with the wiper stalk replacement process on the CLK. I've just posted in the interior section, any advice is much appreciated.
