Just to pre warn everyone I have recently been putting links to this web site in the "Mercedes Benz Owners Club" forum site.

Unlike the MBOA they do not delete this type of link, so start expecting more members joining up.

Hello, I am new. I help run the Mercedes-Benz Club in the UK, www.mercedes-benzownersclub.co.uk I understand from some of our members who post here that this forum was originally formed by disgruntled members of the Owen Newman Publications &quot;Club&quot; - the MB Owners Association.

Well, I just wanted to invite any of you out there to come and join us if you want to be involved in an &quot;actual&quot; as well as a &quot;virtual&quot; Club for the marque. We have been around since 1952 so there is quite a bit of knowledge, we have over 9000 Members and we run all kinds of events, driving, technical, social etc. Also, we have a great monthly magazine - the Gazette, entirely written by non-paid Members. A number of us have just got back form a quick blast down to Mannheim for the massive Veterama autojumble for example.

Hi thanks for your invite! maybee some owners will take you up on that offer of an &quot;actual&quot; club! you are right we are not a 'true' club where as we dont have membership cards, posters, stickers, badges, magazines or the sort maybee we are more of a &quot;community&quot; I don't know! but we do have regular meets and we are only new.

I would love to join your club but cannot really afford the time or the cost in becoming a member. for the moment Im happy in devoting my time and resources into this site where it has become a place where I can just get away from things, hang out with my virtual buddies, we not really here to compete with anyone or make any profits, all the people whom help out here do it because they are enthused by the marque.

I have met some top people here and have gained quite an insight into cars learning everyday! maybee you could give me a trial on your site? mail me if you think thats possible? enough of my rambling!
