My understanding is that the Vodaphone in car Sim gives you 1 month free once you activate the Vodaphone account and then you have to pay for extra data per month or annually..... £10 a month or approx £100 a year. I could use my phone as a hotspot in my 2014 E Class but not in the 2019 E Class. Mercedes seem to have stopped the links to internet radio and other internet apps without paying for the Vodaphone connection fee...... all in the name of progress obviously!!!
No DVD slot but it does play MP4 video files if you use a suitable memory stick in the center console connection points and chose media source from the menu
