mercedes CLA 200 2019
Hi there,

First time Mercedes owner and was hoping for some advice please.

Bought a 2019 CLA 200 recently and noticed this below body work at the front. Is this normal for a cla? Doesn’t seem to have any clips? Some slight scratches as you can see underneath. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It seems to be the same the other side just not as “open” i did try to push it back up but doesn’t hold and drops back. Am I ok to drive like this? Car performance doesn’t seem to be affected.. Thank you

Not to sure mybe the under tray

Definitely looks like it's been caught on something: low kerb or the like.It shouldn't be hanging down like that.

Kerb damage, had the same on my B Class (guilty as charged!). A few screws and clips to remove and replace. With discount I managed to get the part from MB for just under £100. Car should be OK to drive provided nothing is fouling the wheels.

It looks 100% like an undertray. It looks like someone parked up in a car park, etc., over a kerb, and as she or he reversed, that caused the scratches/damage and pulled out the undertray from the front bumper. Hopefully, it is just getting a quick-fit garage to remove and re-do the undertray.
Just as the quick-fit to get the car on the ramp for a free quote and if the clips etc on tray are not broken, it should be a 5 min job for them.
