New ML - Will COMAND support full postcodes?

Hi guys,

MrsP will be taking delivery of her new ML350 Grand Edition in a couple of weeks. It includes COMAND, listed as 512/518. Can anyone tell me if this will/should include support for full UK postcode entry. Or, if it doesn't, can it be updated to do so, and should I be asking the dealer to do any upgrade when we collect it?

I've read a few related-type threads on here, but I've only managed to get myself more confused than when I started!

And it says it's a 6-disc CD/DVD changer, with HDD map navigation, Media Interface, and reversing camera - if that helps/makes any difference!

MY09> ML has the Comand NTG2.5 which does have full 7 digit postcode input. not sure if that is still the same unit being used at present. Nothing to ask the dealer to do really, should have latest maps and you get three years free map updates.

Edit: Quick search for pictures of new 2011 ones for sale shows it does still use the same system.
