New NTG5.5 Map (Europe and USA versions)

As of a few days ago there are new NTG5.5 maps for Europe, and for USA for cars with COMAND (i.e. with the massive screen!!). Both are Version 10

NTG5.5 is in the new E class, and I believe in the latest facelift of the S class.

Europe is about 40GB long, and I believe your car will download them. Although 40GB over the 3G connection that UK cars have is probably painful.

I suppose you may persuade a MB dealer to install it for you manually - or if we have retrofitted your COMAND NTG5.5 we can of course do it for you.

USA is about 30GB, and I don't know how USA cars get maps (i.e over the air, or from the dealer).

W213 COMAND maps can be downloaded via the Mercedes Me portal too to avoid the slow download speed at the car.
