New Number Plate Identifier Problem

Just see a Telegraph article that the GB identifier is going to become UK to be more inclusive of Northern Ireland . Not sure if this will impact onto EU area driving . Either way don’t buy new plates until it’s become clear .

The GB plates are not acceptable in the EU any more anyway, you still need a GB / NI (or UK) sticker in addition to the number plate.

A GB , marker on the plate, without that wierd blue blackground and those funny stars is allowed.

There are all sorts of little stickers available on tinternet, If you are going over buy a mixed handful of these until 'they' make up their frucking minds

I read an article the other day about how the EU has managed to sort the NI/EU 'border' issue out with less than the stroke of a pen (keyboard) unfortunately for the Irish it is not Ireland but the island of Sint Maarten . The French bit is in the EU but the Dutch bit is not.

The locals don't even notice the difference. But then again Sint Maarten is not a big pawn in a dangerous political game .
