I've just had PCS fit a set of DRLs to my SL63 and I'm really pleased with them.
I was reluctant to bolt on 'Halfords after-market' DRLs as they would look naff and positioning them nicely was going to be a problem, so I bit the bullet and shelled out for some seriously high quality replacement grille/panels.
These new grilles incorporate a new fog-light (moved down to make space for the DRL), a bright DRL and a small grille. They are made from a dense hard plastic that feels very substantial. I left in original matt black.
They are a direct replacement for the existing grille and fog-light.
Remove the old grille, install these new ones.
They also come with all wiring, waterproof connectors and a control module. In fact everything you need to fit them.
The overall effect is, IMO, one that looks "OEM" rather than a cheap bolt-on, and was the right thing to do with my car.
I had some minor difficulty initially getting them to work, but Marcus of 'Piecha' who sells them, was extremely helpful and sorted the problem out for me. Thanks Marcus

And here are a couple of photos of the new DRL panels on my car:
I can't recommend the new DRL panels enough.
They are not cheap, I admit, but IMO they do give a high quality OEM look to the front of the car
Cheers,
Robert
