Quick question on the web app screenshot you gave gr1nch, have you figured out what the 'Updated x days ago' bit in the top right corner actually means?

It seems to have no relevance to anything I do.

Hello gigdesigns, I'm thinking it can only mean the number of days that the web app code was itself updated, as it has much more recent data from my car. If this guess it's correct, then the "x" in the "Updated x days ago" would be the same for both of us and indeed everyone. Today, for me, the web app shows x = 14. How about you?

Yes, shows 14 days for me too, so I suspect you are correct.

I tried getting an answer out of MB ME support for the same thing and their response was:

The time update in the right upper corner it should be related to the last vehicle position.
It is only updated everytime you runs the engine and it takes some minutes until the system recognize this update. So that means that vehicle has to be driven few minutes until the system is updated,
so maybe that´s why the update info shown and the current location does not match."

This is definitely not the case because it doesn't change when I drive the car.

I get the feeling that MB support and dealerships aren't very proficient on the technical side of things. I visited a dealership to try and resolve an issue with the Voice command "POI by name" which is meant to allow you to do a keyword search for nearby POI (e.g. Starbucks) . When I try this in my car and indeed other vehicles they had in the dealership, the MB linguatronic response is "Free POI search for United Kingdom not possible". Asking the dealership guy why this was the case, he just looked at me blankly and shrugged. I asked if there was anyone we could consult, perhaps a technical team in Germany or something and he just said no.

Laughable for such a premium brand car, which is such a shame, because the car itself is awesome.
