New SLK - a couple of questions

We're considering buying a new SLK 200K. The dealers' product knowledge is sketchy and contradictory so I'll ask the experts
My wife wants a manual - I'm assuming this is less of an issue compared to other Mercs owing to the 'standard' handbrake. Is the 6 speed manual a good 'box?
The standard spec says 'Bluetooth telephone interface'. Is this fully functional or do we need to specify telephone pre-wire as well.
The 5.9%APR finance looks pretty good - is there a catch or is it a genuine offer to shift cars?

Yes, the standard 6 speed box is ok although, myself and plenty of others like the auto and wouldnt have anything else. I find the manual clutch a bit heavy if anything but thats just me I guess.

Yes, the standard fit audio is now bluetooth so you dont need the pre-wire. Have a look at the interactive owners manual on the MB website and it gives you a list of current compatible telephones and how to make them pair/connect.

Its a genuine offer which was running before the "bad" summer but I dare say you could improve it slightly with a bit of gentle persuasion, my local dealer has about 4 various R171 SLK's going nowhere at the moment.
