New to MB ownership

A week ago, I didn't own a MB. I've never driven one, never even been in one........but I'd always fancied one.

I recently had to find a large estate so I jumped at the chance of getting a MB. After lots of research, I finally bought a W124 E220 Estate auto (with perfect front wings).

One week in, and I'm loving it. It is everything I hoped for, and it is a great drive.

Secondly, I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone here for all the helpful posts over the weeks which has helped me get to this point.

Congratualtions, crackin find, research obviously worked. Looks really good. Glad you are enjoying the experience. They are truely the last of the great Mercs. Maybe some of the newer creations coming on line now can bring the marque up to scratch again. (Time will tell) Lent my 124 to a buddy today, he is towing a 4 wheel car transporter trailer down to London from Lancashire. Got a 924 on the back, thats the faith we have in 124s and thats with 270K+ miles on the clock.
