new to me cd changer

if i put a new to me cd changer in my car,will i have to code it or marry it to my car,i drive a w209 reg no hk53ent

Does it currently have a CD changer? If you are just replacing a faulty one then no problem. If it does not have one you will need an extra connector for the wiring loom. I think it needs to connect to the system somewhere in the nearside footwell and also to the head unit itself. As far as I know it will not need coding.

You will need loom and fibre. Plus your head unit will need to be coded if there is nothing presently on the fibre ring.
