New turbo

My car has done 175k miles and needed a full service plus a clunking noise at the front which needed attention. This turned out to be the ball joints. Anyway whilst checking the car over he inspected the turbo and said if I didn't change it soon I could have some serious damage to the engine. I've not seen one before but looking at the picture of mine it looks in a bit of a state. I agreed to have a new one. Two of the blades look as though large pieces are missing. The car still drove great which is a bit odd. Would you agree?

Go out and buy a lottery ticket, you'll probably only need one!

Just collected car and the price wasn't bad.
They did the following: -

Supply and fit recon turbo.
All fluids inc Engine, g'box, brakes, pwr steering radiator.
All filters
Fixed rear wiper
Cleaned out windscreen washers so they now work properly.
No plate bulb
Replaced both ball joints and laser 4 wheel tracking
£1,167

Considering I haven't spent anything major in the last 3.5 years 75k miles I'm happy with that. :bannana:
