Hi All

Just thought I'd report on my recent tyre change on the Volvo, now on its 3rd set at 52k so not too bad.

1st set Pirelli P7000
2nd set Pirelli P6000
3rd set Continental Contact sport 3

What a difference the Conti's have made ride is totally transformed not as hard and dry grip is far superior to the Pirelli's not sure how long they will last as I get the impression they may be a bit soft but got them at a bargain price of < £300 for all 4 corners (205/50/17) so well chuffed.

Will report back on MPG and wear as they go along but just thought I would share :thumb:

Great summer tyres yes - but I only get 15k on them and I certainly do not go hard on them. They are useless in the winter though and that is why I will be changing to Nokians in 2 weeks!

I also got a set of Nokians ready to go on the Audi so we don't get caught out if it turns bad again this winter :thumb: The Volvo as usual can then spend all it's time living in the pub car park as usual :D
