After reading several posts on tyres and where to purchase them from I went for the following:
My W203 needed a set of rear tyres (MOT reported at 2mm) to replace the original Contis. After some online searching I booked a mobile tyre fitting service from Event Tyres Tyres Online | Mobile Car Tyre Fitting | Event Tyres.
After reading some good reports I went for Goodyear Eagle F1 Assym 245/40/17 95Y, which at £119.50 each fitted inclusive at my place of work I'm very pleased with.
As I don't go through tyres too quickly I didn't see the point of the cheaper brand tyres.
I would recommend Event Tyres service, for price and ease.
