New tyres - w219 CLS55 - can I move to a 295 rear

Hi all

New rear tyre time

Car wears a 285/30/19 as standard

Could I put in slighter fatter rears ; a 295/30/19 and would this cause issues with speedo / ESP etc ?

I'd go fatter, shouldn't be an issue. I ran 285 on my 911 and decided to put 315 on it and didn't effect it for the worse.

When I bought my cls55 it was running 275 rears so I changed them to 285... the car didn't even notice in terms of esp issues

285 on the rear is standard width for the CLS55

Hi Lenny, I am running 295s on 20" wheels which are 10.5j wide and they are fine.
