time to renew the boots on the e320estate. dont want to renew with michelins as they get noisey as they wear. lookingat falkens either fk 452 or ze 912 dont want expensive as car has to go on industrial estate and onto kerbs but dont want cheap and cheerful . any feedback or personal reviews welcome. thanks everyone.

I'm in the market for new tyres for our E320 also, and Michelins are my fav, but they are up in price I believe. My tyre man says try the Toyo T1R's, I've read a little about them and they sound OK! but I'm undecided as yet.

Looking forward to another tyre thread.

Cheers

:)

Just had Continental PremiumContact fitted - very pleased so far. Seem to have good grip and very quiet.

Ive just fitted ZE912s all around. Several tyre fitters told me that they were better than the 452.

Bit early to tell as to how good they wear but so far so good. Certainly feel far better than the Bridgestones that I had used previously. The ZE912s worked out to be about £70 per corner fitted.

Hi

Several Falken threads on here

I fitted 912's to the Zafira and having done couple of runs to Devon and back (two trips with no one else in it ;) ) I can recommend them.

Little noise at all, and good grip when pressing through a corner - even for a tall car like the Zaffy

Cannot comment on wear yet but the on the VX site there are a few guys who do the miles and are impressed with wear to date

I paid £75 a corner all in - and they were recommended above the 452 for a People carrier and estate as they are XL capacity

ive got falkens fk 452 and love them

almost a year now and probably 3,000 miles and still like new

18" @ £75 each ish

Agree with above posts - Falken 452's or 912's are good tyres, have them fitted on my C200K. However, trying out Yokohama Advan Sport 103's on the 55 as i read some good reports on them.

I can find info on 452 but damn near nowt on 912s . Sort of convinced to go with 912 as now been told it supercedes 452s

Just type Falken Tyres into your google box and you should find Falken tyres Direct site has lots of info on their range. The 452's i believe are still their flagship tyre.

Got Michelin Primacy on mine and do not think they are noisy at all.
Have done 40,000 miles on all four and still about 5,000 to go. Don`t think that I could have done any better with any other tyres.

Regards

John

we've got 452's on the back of the E55 (as good a testing ground as any tyre needs :)) and they get a big thumbs up. Loads of grip and they seem to be wearing OK

had 2 912's fitted on Monday, thanks for the camskill. link Howard, 205 / 60 /15 91 V £42 each plus £8 carriage plus £15 fitting at the local indie
good as gold :)

No worries ....

912's dont supercede 452's .... 452's are more performance orientated. The 912's are more for people carriers and load luggers as another poster has said.

I have 452's on the back of mine , very impressed. 245/40/17 = £69 !! :bannana:

I scanned site and it looks like 452's start at 16"
I have original 8 hole 15" so settled for 912's
still :) :) :)
