New wheel nuts?

My wheel nut are looking a bit shabby on my W126 alloys. Can anyone recommend a place I could buy news ones or does it have to be MB directly?

Or might wheel nut covers be an idea worth considering?

Hi Norm, i just got some wheel nut covers off of e-bay for mine and they seem to do the trick. I've put the photo's on an earlier thread i had. They are shown on the 2nd page:

Covers seem a good idea. I expect new lugs would be a bit expensive. And from what i read, new MB wheel nuts along with all other makes, go rusty quite quickly since the metal content is different these days due to health and safety regs etc.

This is going to be a daft question, but do you pull them off when you want to undo the wheel nuts, or how does it work?

Yes they come with a little tool to pull them off.

Hi,
Just give your original ones a good wire brushing and spray with a wheel silver rattle from Halfords, can improves them no end for less than a tenner!
