Nope because its firm enough already and ride quality is more important to me.

Looks great! This should come as little surprise as the AMG IVs always look good on W203s, they were designed for it :D

Try taking a pic when kneeling or from ground-level, it's much more flattering to the car :)

I'm a wimp shude it was chucking it down so I took the photo from under a sheltered place on a car park roof. On a drier day I'll do some proper photos for the gallery. Glad you like the wheels:)

Looks fantastic, but I would say that wouldn't I??!! ;)

Cheers Bobby. Yes you would but I knew they'd look alright from yours! BTW I haven't had an answer to your question yet, I'll chase them up!

LOL. Stick that one in the gallery and I'll drive around in the comfortable one!

Edit: You are TOO good and Too quick and photoshop!!

C18 AMG!

Lol @ godlike photoshoppification :D!

They look great. Shude your to smart by half.

They do look good, suits the car very well.
These look like they are 7.5" all round, didnt you want the 8.5" wider rears?

Very observent! I looked up the AMG book and it said either 225/45 allround or 245/40 at the rear. I could get a discount of £*** off the list price for 225/45 all round and so I jumped at it. I wondered how it would look but the offset sees to push the wheel out more than on my original wheels anyway so I think it will be OK.

R2D2, those wheels look 100% on the W203 Sometimes you see alloys on a car and they just look 'wrong', then you occasionally see a car with the 'correct' wheels and they look the nuts. Yours is the later mate.

Very nice R2. Looks excellent. Please look after them as I want them looking mint when I buy them off you in a few years time :D

Looks good mate, alot better than the original wheels!

Do the W203 still use the rubber shim pads on the top of the springs? If so you might be able to lower it slightly using a slimmer shim without losing any ride comfort.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I wasn't sure for at least 10 minutes, then I thought cool!

Cheers! Re shims, i think you are right. When it stops raining I'll get up underneath and see what spring pad number it running. On w202 I got a 13mm drop just from changing spring pads.
