New Wheels arrived at last!!

That's why the rear box went;)

LOL. No I loved the look of it. I actually wanted to cut the Brabus tips off and stick them on mine but several people told me they have me arrested if I cut up a Brabus box!

Looking good these where the rims that were made originally for the W203 C32 AMG i take it. Hope you got locking bolts on them you can never be too carefull!!

..........and the C55AMG has iv's as well.

Hey R2D2 I'm happy you have received the wheels!

Well done, I really like them, those AMG wheels look so nice on W203 shape;) .

Have you verified that those are factory AMG wheels, are they stamped?

Marco

Oh Yes. They are all stamped and in order. As promised brand new wheels with brand new tyres at a big discount:D

My Advantgarde wheels are now in classifieds with photos

The C55 AMG shares 18" IVs rims with the E55 AMG and they're a slightly different style IIRC.

Please sorry for my bad english but what does it means "IIRC"?:o

thanks

If I Recall Correctly

Quite a bit of dofference actually hence the reason i upgraded them.

And yes you can alter the ride level via the spring pads but not too sure wether its only on the front they have them or on the rear.

You can check this by just lightly rubbing your fingers on the pads themselves as they have dots/pimps on them and judging by how many dots you can feel signals what thickness you have. I went for the lowest ones "1dot" reducing the ride by a further 5cm than the lowering springs i installed and still get a good sporty/comfy drive.

Stumbled on an old thread of mine

Just found this!
1dot=5mm
2dot=9mm
3dot=13mm
4dot=17mm price is 3.50 for the pads each and only come on the rear springs.

But its not a C55 it a tuned C180 with nice wheels. It hasnt even goy the AMG body kit. BTW I could only see spring pads on the rear whereas on the W202 I had them on the front as well.

Yesterday I was given a lengthy test drive in a new C55AMG and I love it. The engine and exhaust noise is wonderful!!

Back end looks wrong to me with the wheel being the same offset as the front... as long as you are happy.

Andy your C32 is amazing, looks totally balanced compared to the standard 203 with the IV wheels, top marks!

Go on Greg. Best of all worlds. Not loud, not harsh, no less suitable for your family than any w203, you are happy and you insure a standard car.

Just a few photos
