New Wii BBC iPlayer channel

Although the Wii has a slightly obtimised version of the iPlayer when you run it through the Opera browser, on November 18th we will be getting a stand alone iPlayer channel - like on the PS3

Really looking forward to this. iplayer on wii stopped working after the latest update.....

shame itv player doesnt work on wii though.

Works great, full screen, very nearly Freeview quality, only ever so slightly blocky.

Works very well from what I could tell of a quick test. Interface good and very quick to buffer and play, with a watchable picture. I can imagine me using it occassionally (occassionally only as I have Sky+). For programmes I have forgotton to record or a choice of on demand content it looks good. Wii has a few uses after all.

We use the PS3 one all the time - very convenient, and looks fine at normal viewing distance on a 42" screen.

Loaded it up last night - good stuff, caught the beginning of the James may prog I'd missed. Quality looked OK, buffering good, nice and simple to use.
