Newbee with SL55 from Leamington Spa

Hi everyone,

Thought I would take the time to say hello and introduce myself.

Just purchased a SL55 and therefore I suspect I will be asking for lots of advice on how best to look after it and who to resolve any issues that it has. Therefore I am going to apologise in advance for the numerous questions I am bound to ask

Noooooooo, not another SL55........... I am looking for an SL500 but i keep seeing lovely SL55's and this type of post doesn't help.

I will take some pictures and post them fairly soon. The spec is:

Distronic
Exclusive Napa leather in dark grey (including the dash)
Xenon lights
Keyless go
TV tuner (pointless as they now can't work)
Linguatronic
A weird designio granite interior trim! I suspect that this must be the only SL55 with this trim fitted. It is genuine as it is listed on the MB spec sheet. I am going to change this to a carbon interior trim.

Its only got 40,000 miles on the clock so i should be using this quite a bit!

Your car, but think carefully about replacing the granite. That's a seriously rare option. If you do remove it, then do it really carefully!!
