Newbie C Class Owner

Following my previous post I have today committed to a 10 plate C220 Sport Estate. 1 question from an auto virgin, I assume if it's the 7G Tronic box that the dash display would show 1 2 3 4 5 6 7?

I have to admit, I never tried the manual shifters.

Yes it will show D1, D2 etc...

Thanks - I'm assuming it will show D6 as one of the 7 gears is reverse?

So

D1 D2 D3 D4 D5 D6

M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 M6

I think you will find that its the 5speed auto, 5 forward plus reverse.
The 7g has 7 forward gears plus 2 reverse.

The 7g box only shows you what gear you are in in manual mode, anything else it just shows drive, yes 7 forward gears and at least 1 for reverse, I've never gone that quick in reverse to see if it changes up lol

Mine always shows what gear it is in regardless of modes.
Sport mode makes it a different car to drive and much easier than when in Hybrid/Eco mode.
If using the paddle change it will soon change back to Hybrid or Eco if you then start driving normally but mine only has Eco and Sport no Manual mode.
Not sure about how many reverse gears though.

Yes but anE300 Hybrid is not a 2010 c220 sports estate...........................
