newbie digital tv question

Hi this has probably been answered so many time but just incase asking now, there might be better solutions avalible, if its going to crazy cash then i will prob judt leave it but my CLS55 has analoge tv and plays DVD but how hard would it be to change the analoge tunner to digital and still have it function from command unit ???

Hi
You can put the digital TV tuner in - it needs some wiring changes to the coax setup though). Digital tuners are expensive new. Cheaper on eBay. You need the one starting part number A211 *but* make sure its the digital one and not the same analogue one.

Or you can simply connact an aftermarket digital tuner to the aux video inputs of the current analogue one.

MB also have a piggy back digital tuner that was oem and pretty rare to find.

I converted mine to a oem digital tuner, had to change some wiring bits also, tbh i hardly use it so probably not worth the effort.
