Hi all,
Was looking for a big engined comfy car with bags of torque so picked up a 2010 E350 cdi Coupe last week and am loving it so far (first Merc and first diesel!).
Was on here looking up info before buying so thought I should say hi and thank you.

€750 a year on the emissions basis. A 3.0L on the old CC basis is €1,494!!
It’s a ridiculous tax but used to it after paying it on 2.0 petrol turbos for the last 10 years.

Hi and welcolme, the tax is ridiculous, I am only 100 mls from you and the tax on E320 CDI here is around 1/4 of that.
Davy a guy who owns Davys pets in Carlow was up picking stuff up from me in a Range Rover and I nearly fainted when he showed me the price of the tax on it.

My 1988 300CE has cost me €1500 Road tax every year and I only drive 1000 miles or less! This year she is 30 years old so qualifies for classic tax. €55
