Hi all, New member for Wrexham North Wales.
Just bought a C220d 2011 S204 with 113,000 miles on it a month ago. Last 2 cars have been BMW and this is my first Merc, I'm very happy with it especially as Ive just sold my hard top convertable. Already had loads in the boot.
Jobs have been done already but it has started with an oil leak. Ive changed the oil filter housing as I thought it was that but next going onto the sump gasket sealant and sump plug as it was serviced 2 weeks after I had it to keep service history up and think from then the oil leak might have started then but could have been there before I bought it and not noticed when I bought the car.
Basic service carried out at an independant garage
Carried out by me-
Fuel and pollen filters
Water pump / coolant
Oil filter housing
Drivers Seat cushion
Ordered an Auto gearbox mount and turbo oil return seals to do this weekend and want to tackle the sump sealant. Any advice on this job would be great?
Anybody local to Wrexham and which Merc specialists do you use?
Thanks Brian
