Good evening all,
I became the owner of a 1989 190e this afternoon - I was out looking for something else, but she called to me across the car lot!

Generally she seems to be in reasonable health, there are a few things I need to attend to.

I will no doubt be back later for more mechanical tips...

ooh, you're a friendly lot round here, thanks for the welcome.

I spent the morning cleaning my new motor, which is always the best way to get to know a new car. For £300 I'm pretty chuffed with it.

I bought it as a winter daily, to save my 1988 Morgan from the worst of the salty roads etc
