newbie , no sats on sat nav and cant change date / time in COMMAND

Hi, new here so sorry if in the wrong place,

I recently hit a pot hole in my CLS350 (2005 W219 I think) & burst the tyre what also happened, which seems very random is that the SAT NAV lost its location.

I've done all the usual things like replaced the blue FAKRA connection , pulled the fuses and disconnected the battery but still no SATs appear and the satnav is 'lost'.

I've also noticed that I can now only change the minutes in COMMAND by increments of 30 mins and the date is just inaccessible ,

So , any ideas , what to do next :-(

Did you attach the full fakra receiver Ariel. ?

yes, I bought a cheap one from Amazon, rerouted through rear shelf speakers and down into boot left hand side.

maybe that was a bit too cheap , i spose another tenner wont hurt

I paid £4.50 for one and it worked. I stuck it on the back window .

could well be a duff cable, no way of telling really.
everything else works OK, reads the CD etc , radio OK , maybe the pot hole things just a coincidence , the old girls getting on a bit

It's clearly not picking up if it's not finding sats ,that's also how it sets the time.
