hi, ive got an m3 evo at the moment but im looking to get an sl on a g-l plate and wondered what to look for when buying?

this is my car if anybody would like a part ex

thanks for the comments guys i havent had a merc before and like the thought of wafting along in an auto. the m3 is a dog round town, notchy gearbox and a heavy clutch pedal, common on the m3s so im told!
ill miss the 321bhp tho when shes gone!

Not necessarily, an H-L plate (1990-1994) R129 model 500SL will have a DOHC 32-valve V8 giving a little over that

In 1995 the bhp went down slightly to 320 (but torque went up a little). In 1999 the R129 got a less powerful 24-valve SOHC engine.

A 1989/G plate SL would be the previous R107 model.
