Newbie says hi

Hi all,as you may have guessed i've just bought my first mercedes,it arrives tomorrow,no pictures yet but if you check ebay completed listings under "LHD 1986 Mercedes 190e" you can see it.Just a quick question,the car's been stood in a heated garage/unit for 5 years.I intend to change the oil/filter and brake fluid, check the battery and tyres.The car was given a service before being stored.Anything else i should check mechanically before driving.Thanks in advance.

I imagine the cooling system is worth a look over, check the hoses etc? Let the start and run, and don't go too far from home on the first trip I guess!

Possibly drain the fuel, and put in fresh too?
